🩸 GEHS Blood Drive – February 13! 🩸 Gretna East High School’s Student Council is hosting its third-ever blood drive on Thursday, February 13, in partnership with the American Red Cross! With over 120 individuals committed to donating, we are set to help save more than 360 lives! It’s incredible to see our students eager to make a positive impact and serve the greater good. We have two Griffin of the Week award winners this week! Congrats to Connor and Hailey Levinson! Hailey won this award due to her vocal leadership on the girl's basketball team which has been a big key to their success. She also has been fully committed to self-improvement as a player which has helped improve her teammate's play around her as well. Connor was given this award because of his leadership skills which are beyond what is expected for a sophomore! He is a strong vocal leader on the court and is a great teammate which has been a major part of the boy's basketball team's success this year. Congrats Hailey and Connor! #GoGriffs

This past weekend at the Omaha Central Powerlifting Meet, Sean set the state record for the bench press in his weight class! Sean's bench of 165 pounds gave him the state record for the 114-pound weight class. Sean also went on to take 1st place in his weight class as well and helped lead the Griffin Powerlifting team to a 3rd place finish overall! Congrats Sean! #GoGriffs
